Sports News: IPL 2025 did what had been imagined for a long time. A final in which there will be no Dhoni, no Rohit, no shadows of Virat's past - instead there will be two teams who had decorated their dreams on their eyelids for years, but today they have come down to earth.

In the great war that is going to happen on June 3, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) will face each other.  Both have no trophy, but the passion is unabated. Punjab created history by defeating five-time champion Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets in the second qualifier that ran from Sunday night to Monday morning.

Mumbai's pride was broken, Punjab's challenge proved to be heavy

Mumbai scored a huge score of 203 runs while batting first. The brilliant innings of Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma tried to make the match one-sided, but for the first time in IPL, Mumbai lost despite scoring 200+. There was no such example before this.

Shreyas Iyer: The journey from 'Sarpanch' to 'Tsunami'

Punjab's start was also like a romantic film—some fear, some confusion. The early wickets fell, and the audience's heartbeats stopped. But what Captain Shreyas Iyer did in the next 41 balls was not just batting, but a movement. An innings of 87 runs, which included 8 sixes and 5 fours—it was not just a score but a statement of the hunger of a team.

Hope for comeback, but Bumrah remained silent

After the dismissal of Nehal Vadhera and Shashank Singh, Mumbai felt that the way for a comeback was open. But this time the hero was someone else—Shreyas. The most surprising thing was that a bowler like Jasprit Bumrah conceded 40 runs in 4 overs and could not take any wickets. Perhaps he too could not read Iyer's intensity.

Punjab vs Bangalore: Battle of a new era

RCB is also in the final for the first time, and now both teams are on the verge of creating history. This match is not just for a trophy but for the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter. The prayers of millions of fans, unfulfilled dreams, and undefeated hopes—all are going to collide on June 3.
